Professional Highlights

Dr. Giles is the US Representative of the Global PrAKI Consortium. She owns a birth center and hospital practice, Allen Midwifery & Family Wellness, in Allen, Texas. She is a Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Research

Her research focuses on community health, menopause, and lifestyle medicine. She has been published in several journals and has spoken at local, national, and international conferences.

Fields of Expertise

Dr. Giles’ fields of expertise consist of community birth, rural health, hormone consulting and treatment, lifestyle medicine, and pregnancy-related acute kidney injury.

Personal Highlights

Dr. Giles has been married for 30 years to her husband and business partner, Jeff. She has two wonderful children, Seth who lives in California and Reagan who lives in Texas. She loves to hike, bike, and do anything outdoors.
