Lindsay has focused the majority of her occupational therapy career in pediatric practice, including outpatient clinics, in-home services, and school-based settings. She is currently employed by Montgomery County Public Schools, where her work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, the use of assistive technology, and the implementation of coaching approaches, and the Intentional Relationship Model. Lindsay received an award from MCPS’s Autism Services program in 2024, as an “outstanding related services provider”. Lindsay also has experience mentoring occupational therapy students and early-career practitioners.
Prior to joining Shenandoah University, Lindsay held adjunct faculty roles at Trinity Washington University and Idaho State University. Her teaching responsibilities included foundational occupational therapy coursework, with content areas covering assessment, goal writing, pediatrics, mental health, and professional reasoning. She is currently a faculty member in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program at Shenandoah University.
