Professional Highlights:
Professor Leigh is an occupational therapist and professor at SU. She has extensive experience in geriatrics, dementia and aging in place. She has the following certifications and specializations: Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Dementia Care Specialist, LSVT BIG, and AOTA Academic Fieldwork Educator.
Personal Highlights:
Professor Leigh is a two time graduate of Shenandoah University and is very excited for the opportunity to serve and assist new OT professionals in their journey. She has a wide treating background from pediatrics to geriatrics. She entered the world of academia as an adjunct faculty member at Shenandoah in 2014 and joined the full time faculty as the MSOT Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in 2021. In her free time, Professor Leigh enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends as well as her dog, Hugo, who is a certified therapy dog.
