She has earned professional recognition in clinical project management as a skilled team leader in implementing clinical projects with cross-departmental international teams. She serves on several committees developing and evaluating competencies for research practices.

Her primary research interests revolve around clinical research operations and management. Dr. Barry is particularly focused on exploring clinician barriers and facilitators within the research recruitment process. Personal Highlights:
As a member of the Board of Directors for Horizontes de Salud (HHI), I’m lending translational research expertise in support of the mission to improve community health by strengthening primary care services and systems. HHI was founded to bridge annual care from the quarterly medical service trips made by PAs and MDs from North America to the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
