Professional Highlights

I am an occupational therapist with more than a decade of experience working in home health, skilled nursing, and long-term care. Currently, I serve with Fox Rehabilitation in an assisted living facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, I am passionate about helping individuals living with cognitive impairment find adaptations and strategies that allow them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Outside of my clinical work, I volunteer as the manager of the Elkton location for All Blessings Flow (ABF), a nonprofit organization that collects, cleans, and redistributes donated medical equipment to individuals at no cost. I began volunteering at ABF’s main site in Charlottesville in 2019 and quickly recognized the need for these services in Rockingham County. In partnership with Elkton Area United Services, I helped establish ABF’s first satellite location. Since opening, we have distributed more than 3,500 pieces of medical equipment to over 1,500 community members in need.

Through my work both professionally and in the community, I have developed a deep knowledge of assistive and durable medical equipment (AE/DME). This expertise allows me to better serve my patients and to empower individuals to live as independently and safely as possible.
