About AAUW
Since its first meeting in 1881, AAUW has been a catalyst for change. Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has more than 170,000 members and supporters across the United States, as well as 1,000 local branches and over 800 college and university partners. Throughout our history, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political.
Scholarship Info:
- $750 Scholarship
- Transfer student from Laurel Ridge Community College to Shenandoah University
- An essay (300 – 500 words) or video up to 5 minutes covering the topics below will be considered in the selection process. You may either paste your essay below, upload it using the link, or include a link to a Google Drive file of your video. If using Google Drive for video, make sure the settings are set to “Anyone with the link can view.”
