For Newly Admitted Students
Submit your Candidate Response Form in your Shenandoah Application Portal, if you have not already done so.
Response due dates are indicated in your application portal. Please contact your admissions counselor if you have any questions.
Please complete this form following the detailed instructions. You will receive your SU ID card in the mail in approximately two weeks.
SU ID Cards are issued to Shenandoah University Students and are considered a legal form of identification in certain locations.
SU ID cards can only be issued in your legal name unless a preferred name form is submitted and approved by the registrar’s office.
Please allow for 2-3 weeks for receiving a mailed ID card due to post office delays. If you have not received your ID card after three weeks, please let auxservices@su.edu know and we can reissue a card.
If you do not submit a mailing address, please pick up your ID card in Cooley 208. To schedule a pick up appointment, contact auxservices@su.edu.
You will receive detailed information from your program regarding orientation.
Students will complete orientation online via Canvas during the first week of courses in the term in which they were admitted. Orientation includes watching a variety of videos, reading and signing off on the student handbook and taking quizzes. Instructions will be emailed on how to complete this prior to the start of courses.
