Prospective Students

Thank you for your interest in Shenandoah University’s Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. Our clinical education program allows you to have patient contact right from the first semester. Over 40% of our clinical instructors have completed the APTA clinical instructor course, and many have advanced certifications, making them all very qualified to provide excellent clinical education to our students.

Our clinical partners are dedicated to providing the guidance and hands-on experience that  develop our students into exemplary clinicians. We do not have “observation only” clinical experiences, so our students start right away with direct patient care

With over 900 affiliates, SU PT is able to place our highly prepared students in local, regional, national, and international settings. Joining the mission of the university, we have clinical service opportunities that are continuing to expand. We have ongoing clinical outreach opportunities in  Australia, Italy, Nicaragua, Kenya, and Guatemala.

Please contact DPT Admissions, for Admissions information, or Dr. Megan Bureau,  for more information regarding our clinical program.
