Hersheypark is a family theme park in Hershey, Pennsylvania just outside of Harrisburg. The park was founded in 1906 by Milton S. Hershey, as a leisure park for the employees of the Hershey Chocolate Company. Hershey has 70 rides and features 13 roller coasters!
Your ticket includes admission to ZooAmerica, a year-round, 11-acre, walk-thru zoo adjacent to Hersheypark. Stroll the tree-lined pathways as you learn about more than 200 animals from five regions of North America.
Also visit Hershey’s Chocolate World and go on the Chocolate Tour ride, for no extra cost!
Buzzy will be there to greet you from 10 a.m. to noon with temporary tattoos and drawings for prizes. Tickets are discounted for Shenandoah Hornets and their guests at $37.85 per person (children two and under are free)! Saturday, July 21 | 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. & Water Park noon – 6 p.m.
Six Flags Over Georgia is a 290-acre theme park just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. The park features characters and themes from a variety of Warner Bros. properties such as Looney Tunes and DC Comics. Six Flags Over Georgia features ten roller coasters, including top-ranked Mind Bender and Goliath, along with and over 30 other rides, shows, and attractions.
Your ticket includes admission to Hurricane Harbor, a seven-acre water park!
Tickets are discounted for Shenandoah Hornets and their guests at $53.99 per person and include FREE parking (normally $25) on July 21, and free admission to the theme park and Six Flags White Water for the rest of the summer season! Children two and under are free. To ensure you receive your tickets, registration closes at midnight on Thursday, July 5. There will be temporary tattoos and drawings for prizes!

Sunday, July 29 | 11 a.m. – midnight
The original Luna Park, Coney Island, a massive spectacle of rides, ornate towers, and cupolas covered in 250,000 electric lights, opened in 1903 by the showmen and entrepreneurs Frederic Thompson and Elmer “Skip” Dundy. Luna Park, Coney Island in New York City has been modeled after that historic park! The park features 19 rides, including three roller coasters.
Wristbands are discounted for Shenandoah Hornets and their guests at $40 per person. Special thanks to Luna Park’s Group Sales Manager and Shenandoah alumnus Jeff Klein ’90 for hosting our group!
A portion of the proceeds from these wristband sales will go toward making the Hal Herman Lab Theatre a reality for current Shenandoah Conservatory students. Children two and under are free. To ensure you receive your wristbands, registration closes at midnight on Tuesday, June 19. We’ll also have temporary tattoos, drawings for prizes, and tug-of-war on the beach!
Saturday, August 4 | 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Kings Dominion is an amusement park located in Doswell, Virginia, outside of Richmond. The 400-acre park opened in 1975, and features over 60 rides, shows and attractions including 13 roller coasters and a 20-acre water park!
Buzzy will be there to greet you from 10:30 a.m. to noon with temporary tattoos and drawings for prizes.
Tickets are discounted for Shenandoah Hornets and their guests at $30.99 per person and include FREE parking (normally $15)! Children two and under are free. Once inside the park, enjoy some mouthwatering BBQ and local craft beer at the BBQ & Brew Fest!
