Audition For a Feature Film Being Shot This Fall in Winchester

Auditions for the family Christmas comedy “Santa Girl” will be held on campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2. The film follows the teenage daughter of Santa Claus as she leaves the North Pole to attend college in the real world.

Casting is seeking men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 for multiple roles. Screen Actors Guild union members and Non-union actors are encouraged to audition. The film will shoot on or around Oct. 18 – Nov. 18, in the Winchester area.

Film director Blayne Weaver will attend the auditions. Weaver has previously written and directed the feature films “Cut To The Chase” (starring Lance Henriksen), “6 Month Rule” (Martin Starr, John Michael Higgins) and “Weather Girl” (Mark Harmon, Jon Cryer, Jane Lynch). Auditions will occur in the Vickers Communication Center, Room 106.
