SSMT Celebrates Most Successful Season Yet

Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre (SSMT) celebrated its 35th season in summer 2018 with a season that included “Newsies,” “West Side Story” and “Mamma Mia!” Over 175 employees were hired for the season, bringing together theatre artists from around the country to work on 3 fully-staged musicals produced over 6 weeks. Led by Professor Emeritus of Composition and Musical Theatre and Producing Artistic Director of Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre Thomas Albert, D.M.A., SSMT had a very successful season with box office sales and patron attendance at an all-time high.
