Environmental Studies Assistant Professor Publishes Series of Articles

Allyson Degrassi, Ph.D., co-writes several pieces appearing in three journals

Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and Biology Allyson L. Degrassi, Ph.D., recently saw the publication of several journal articles she co-wrote. 

“Loss of foundation species revisited: conceptual framework with lessons learned from eastern hemlock and whitebark pine,” co-written with Steven Brantley, Carrie R. Levine, Jacqueline Mohan, Sydne Record, Diana F. Tomback and Aaron M. Ellison, appeared in the journal Ecosphere.

“Genotype-specific effects of ericoid mycorrhizae on floral traits and reproduction in Vaccinium corymbosum,” coauthored with Alison Kay Brody, Benjamin Waterman, Taylor Henry Ricketts, Jonathan B. González, Jeanne M. Harris and Leif L. Richardson, appeared in American Journal of Botany. 

“Influence of field technique, density, and sex on home range and overlap of the southern red-backed vole (Myodes gapperi),” which she cowrote with Honora B. Tisell, Ryan B. Stephens and Rebecca J. Rowe, was published in the Canadian Journal of Zoology.
