Hyde ’16 and Inabinet ’16 Share Ukulele Teaching Insights with Current Music Education Majors

Katherine Hyde ’16 and Tierney (McDermott) Inabinet ’16 (both Bachelor of Music in Music Education) visited junior music education majors in the Elementary Music Methods class on Monday, Nov. 4, to share their beginning lessons for introducing ukulele to fourth graders. Hyde and Inabinet co-teach general music at Rose Lee Carter Elementary School in Loudoun County. They led junior music education majors through the beginning lessons on ukulele including “We Will Rock You” and “Shake It Off.”
