Meyer Co-authors Article for Journal of Singing and Virtually Presents Research in China and Kenya

Director of the Janette Ogg Voice Research Center and Associate Professor of Voice (Baritone) and Vocal Pedagogy David Meyer, D.M., co-authored an article for the January/February edition of the Journal of Singing with Lynn Helding of the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. The article, “Practical Science in the Studio: No-Tech Strategies” examines how advances in cognitive and behavioral sciences can be practically applied in the voice studio.

Dr. Meyer also gave a keynote address, “Functional Training of the Singing Voice” presentation to the 6th National Voice Medicine Forum, Shenzhen, China.

He also gave a talk, “COVID-19 and Singing” to the Kabarak University School of Music and Performing Arts, in Nakuru, Kenya.
