Esports Program Wins Tech Award

Program Honored With The Shenandoah Valley Technology Council's Innovation in Higher Education Award

Shenandoah University’s esports program recently won the Shenandoah Valley Technology Council‘s Innovation in Higher Education Award. SU received this recognition for providing exceptional technology leadership and innovative use of technology while encouraging students to pursue higher education or training in science, technology, engineering or math.

According to its website, the Shenandoah Valley Technology Council is “a nonprofit membership organization serving the greater Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Its members are technology creators and users who gather together for education, networking and business development. By helping technology businesses in the area succeed and grow, the Shenandoah Valley Technology Council is an integral component of the region, helping bring high-paying technology jobs to the Valley.”
