Shenandoah Fall Break 2021

Are you staying on campus or around Winchester during Fall Break? Check out ways to pumpkin-spice up your Fall Break during this autumn season.

SU will be providing activities such as Shenandoah Outdoor & Adventure Recreation (SOAR) trips, crafts, athletic events, and social functions. SOAR is hosting a pumpkin spiced themed coffee walk, treehouse camping, and a beginner hike to Bear’s Den. Women’s volleyball and women’s soccer both play at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, and there will be a pre-game pizza party outside the Wilkins Athletics & Events Center (WAEC) at 5:30 p.m. Don’t forget to stop by the Brandt Student Center and pick up a no-sew blanket kit on Monday, Oct. 18, and a Buzzy portrait paint kit on Tuesday, Oct. 19. Other events include NFL watch parties in the Brandt Student Center (BSC), movie trips to AMC theatres, a game room pool tournament, and Tasty Treat Tuesday from Glazed & Confused in the BSC hallway.

Make the most of your Fall Break by participating in all of the unbe-leaf-able activities SU is hosting this year!

Normally, the dining hall throws away all of the food that the students do not eat, so instead of wasting perfectly edible food, FRN gives the meals to those who are in need. The food is then delivered to the Salvation Army, a resource in Winchester for low-income or homeless families and individuals. You can sign up at signupgenius.com.
