Wagner Guest Conducts Williamsburg and Alabama Symphony Orchestras

Conductor, Director of Orchestral Studies and Professor of Conducting Jan Wagner, Diploma and Korrepetitions Praxis, Academy of Music in Vienna (Austria), will return to the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra in December 2021 to conduct three performances of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” with Virginia Regional Ballet Company at the Ferguson Center for the Arts in Newport News, Virginia. In March 2022, Wagner will return to guest conduct the Alabama Symphony Orchestra for the third time in three performances as part of its Masterworks Series with works by Prokofiev, Mendelssohn and Mozart.
