Viña Performs and Participates in Panel Discussion at Percussive Arts Society International Convention

Assistant Professor of Percussion Karlyn R. Viña, D.M.A., performed at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Thursday, Nov. 11. She performed “Aphasia” by Mark Applebaum as part of the New Music/Research concert series that focuses on works involving percussion and voice. Viña also served on the New Music/Research panel discussion on percussion and voice alongside Steven Schick, Stuart Saunders Smith and Ivan Trevino at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention.
