Stokes Commissioned to Write Work for Berry College Orchestra
Coordinator of Strings and Professor of Bass Donovan Stokes, D.M., was commissioned to compose a work for symphony orchestra by the Berry College Symphony Orchestra in Mount Berry, Georgia, as part of his Spring 2022 sabbatical. The resultant work, “Ascension,” will be performed at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, on the campus of Berry College.
