TDP Hosts Virtual Costume Rendering Masterclass with Broadway Costume Designer Gregg Barnes

The theatre design and production program hosted a virtual masterclass in costume rendering with Gregg Barnes on Saturday, April 2. Barnes is a very well-known Broadway costume designer, who designed “Something Rotten!,” “Kinky Boots” and “Hairspray,” among many other shows. He also designed the costumes for “Emmett Otter’s Jugband Christmas,” the Muppet off-Broadway show in December 2021, featuring Coordinator of Musical Theatre Recruitment, Charles B. Levitin Chair in Musical Theatre Director, Director of Musical Theatre and Associate Professor of Theatre Kevin Covert, B.F.A.
