July 2022 Class Notes

After 63 years, Barbara Cramer Crouse (C ’66) has retired from giving private piano lessons in her home music studio. Barbara also retired from her position as Lebanon (OH) Symphony Orchestra & Chorus rehearsal accompanist, organist and/or principal harpist. In June 2020, she received a certificate from the National Federation of Music Clubs recognizing her 63 years of service in church music.

On July 5, Candice Perkins (AS ’02, ’03) started her position as the Frederick-Winchester Service Authority’s Executive Director.

Judith StambaughIn 2021, Judith Culleton Stambaugh (HP ’05, ’09, ’10) received the Advanced Practice Provider of the Year award from Carroll Hospital in Maryland. She also received The Daily Record’s Health Care Heroes Award for COVID-19 in 2021 and the Care Bravely Award for Clinical Impact COVID-19 Response in 2022. (Pictured to the right.)

Dharti Patel (AS ‘07) is a research and development associate for Lycra.

Nikki Bigiarelli (HP ’08) was promoted to chief clinical officer at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia, where she previously served as the clinical director and earlier nursing home team manager.

On July 1, Jody Coffey (EL ’09) became the principal of Rockfish River Elementary School in Afton, Virginia, where she previously served as the assistant principal.

On July 1, Ryan MacRae (AS ’09) started his position as daytime custodian at James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia.

Steven Murray (C ’11) debuted with the Detroit Opera in the production, “X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X.”

Kara Rhodes Wolfe (EL ’11) is a literacy coach at Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester, Virginia.

On July 31, 2021, Cat Lander (HP ’12) married Ashley Ashley.

Othalene Collins Bowland (B ’13) is a senior sourcing buyer for Busch Manufacturing in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Anna Knight Cooney (C ’13) is a development office in MaineGeneral Health’s Office of Philanthropy in Augusta, Maine.

On June 28, Caryn Cozzolino (N ’21) started her position as a registered nurse at Stone Springs Hospital’s Emergency Department in Sterling, Virginia.

Emily Michaelis (HP ’22) is an athletic trainer for Medstar in Towson, Maryland. In this position, Emily works at Towson University covering gymnastics and cheer.
