Top of Virginia Regional Chamber Holds Third Annual Economic Summit, Nov. 14

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Executive Renee Haltom To Serve as Keynote Speaker

The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber (TVRC) will hold its third annual Economic Summit, presented by First Bank and sponsored by the Shenandoah University School of Business, on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in Halpin-Harrison Hall, Stimpson Auditorium, on Shenandoah University’s main campus in Winchester.

Renee Haltom, vice president and regional director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, will serve as keynote speaker. Robert M. McNab, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Economics and director of the Dragas Center for Economic Analysis and Policy at the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University, will serve as a featured speaker.

First Bank President and CEO Scott Harvard will lead a panel discussion on the “State of the Region” featuring Cary Claytor, president of H.N. Funkhouser & Company; Bryan Fairbanks, president and CEO of the Trex Company, Inc.; and Brandon Lorey, CEO of the Bank of Clarke.

The cost to attend is $35 for TVRC members and $45 for general admission. Paid registration will include a continental breakfast. Register today.

Shenandoah University students and faculty may attend for free but must register online before the event.
