Crockett Performs in Arlington and D.C., Releases Limited Edition Vinyl Records

Adjunct Associate Professor of CCM Voice Alison Crockett, M.M., is presenting two shows during the month of October to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her original album, “On Becoming a Woman…”. The first show is presented as part of the Jazz @ Met series on Oct. 17, in Arlington, Virginia, and is sponsored by the DC Jazz Festival. The second performance features Crockett conducting the Capital City Voices on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., with vocalist Linda Harris, who recently returned from a tour of Japan with her shows highlighting the journey of Harriet Tubman.

Crockett is also releasing two limited edition vinyl records — the original “On Becoming a Woman…” and “The Return of Diva Blue” — this month.
