October 2024 Class Notes

On Sept. 20, Paul Moschetto (C ’94) performed a Jazz concert at West Oak Farms in Winchester, Virginia. 

On Aug. 15, it was announced that Ron Vickers (AS ’96) is running for the Mayor of Luray, Virginia.

On Sept. 9, Jean Momorella (HP ’96) hosted a free pickleball clinic at the Milford Pickleball Court in Milford, Connecticut.

This summer, Karen Keating (C ’02) led a trip to Salzburg, Austria, with the Arts Chorale of Winchester.  

Sept. 6 – 8, Jason Marks (C ’03) offered a developmental workshop for his new children’s musical, “Queen Bea.”

Emily King Brown (C ’03) was featured as the royal queen during the workshop.

Brandon Miller (C ’04) was the wig designer for the show Hairspray for Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.

Ruth Wienk (EL ’10) was promoted to department chair for Lee University’s Board of Directors.  

Anna Kendall (B ’17) was promoted to senior manager for Ernst & Young LP. 

On Dec. 25, 2023, Anna Kendall (B ’17) welcomed baby Bentley Kendall into the world. 

Maya Lončar (C ’18) traveled to Guitar Salon International Headquarters in Santa Monica, California, to record five videos.  

Daniel “D.K.” Kelly II (C ’18) joined the Washington Commanders Marching Band and Drumline, for the 2024-25 NFL football season. 

On Sept. 13, it was announced that J. Aaron Hardwick (B ’21, C ’22) is set to lead the Munich Radio Orchestra in a pioneering concert dedicated to video game music in February 2025. 

On Oct. 9, Drew Elhamalawy (C ’21) was cast in “We live in Cairo” for the role of Hassan. 

On Sept. 24, Eve Stanley (C ’22) started her own master series entitled, “Intro to Dance and Movement” at The Court Square Theater in Harrisonburg, Virginia. 

On Sept. 6, Will Holmes (AS ’22) was inducted into James Wood High School’s Hall of Fame

Michaela SmallwoodOn Sept. 20, it was announced that Michaela Smallwood (AS ’23, C ’23) will join the faculty at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Maryland, as a theater adjunct.  (image to the left)

On Sept. 27, it was announced that Kelsey Marshall (C ’24) has been cast in the Off-Broadway, “Honeyland.” 

Roman Banks (ANG) was highlighted in an article entitled, “25 Broadway Professionals Share Their Training.”

On Sept. 5, Collin Finnell (ANG) was highlighted in an article entitled, “Front Royal musicians find harmony in new band.”
