Schwarz and Stokes Premiere New Work in Memory of Inez Wyrick at Carnegie Hall

Associate Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., and Coordinator of Strings and Professor of Bass Donovan Stokes, D.M., will premiere a newly commissioned work by Zev Malina, “Fantasy for Cello and Double Bass.” This work was composed in memory of former Shenandoah Conservatory adjunct faculty member Inez Wyrick and will be presented with Alaria Chamber Ensemble on Dec. 8, at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
