Shores ’99 and Jónsdóttir Win Icelandic Music Award for Producer of the Year

Adjunct Associate Professor of Music Production & Recording Technology Dan Shores ’99, B.M., and Copenhagen-based sound engineer and producer Ragnheiður Jónsdóttir won a 2025 Icelandic Music Award for Producer of the Year for their work in recording, mixing and mastering the album “Bára Gísladóttir: Orchestral Works,” released on DaCapo records. The album features music written by Icelandic composer and double bassist Bára Gísladóttir that was performed by Iceland Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Eva Ollikainen.
