Pearson ’25 Named 2025 Visiting Scholar for Music4Pain Research Network

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Pearson ’25 (Bachelor of Music Therapy) has been announced as the 2025 Visiting Scholar for the Music4Pain Research Network, funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Pearson will join the Roy Pain Lab at McGill University, where they will contribute to research on the neural mechanisms underlying music’s effects on pain perception. Their work will align with the Music4Pain Research Network’s mission to advance mechanistic understanding of music for pain management. Visit music4pain.org to learn more.
