Schwarz Makes South America Debut in Concerto Performance with Orquesta Filarmonica Teresa Quesada

Associate Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., made his debut in South America on Aug. 5, where he performed a stand-alone feature concerto performance with the Orquesta Filarmonica Teresa Quesada at the Teatro Municipal in Lima, Peru. Schwarz also performed “Cello Concerto No. 1” by Camille Saint-Saëns and “Cello Concerto in B Minor, Op. 104, B. 191” by Antonín Dvořák in one concert alongside conductor Pablo Sabat. The performance was presented during the Cello Biennale in Lima, Peru. Schwarz also presented a masterclass at the National Conservatory of Lima on Aug. 4.
