Francis ’24 Lands Role as Company Manager with Broadway Dreams

Tyson Francis ’24 (B.F.A. in Theatre Design & Production/Stage Management, Bachelor of Arts in Dance) was hired in January as the new company manager with Broadway Dreams. In this role, Francis has had the opportunity to build new connections, continue his training, run weeklong intensives across the country to bring accessible theatre education out of New York City, run weekend masterclasses, connect with other SU alumni—including Maya Bhatnagar ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production/Stage Management, Bachelor of Arts in Spanish), Olivia Gordon ’24 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production/ Stage Management) and Amy Bransky ’25 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre)—teach open dance classes in New York City and audition for a variety of companies and projects. As part of his current role, Francis is traveling with the organization across the United States, as well as Germany, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and more.
