Ward ’14 Performs in ‘West Side Story’ at Los Angeles Opera

Jeremy Ward ’14 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) is performing the role of Gee-Tar in “West Side Story” at Los Angeles Opera. The show is a co-production of Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera and Glimmerglass Festival.

Ward is a dynamic performer based in Los Angeles, and originally from southeastern Ohio. After spending eight formative years in New York City working off-Broadway, on television, in music videos and within the vibrant queer nightlife scene, he relocated to LA to refocus and grow his career. Trained in musical theatre and deeply passionate about commercial dance, Ward has been active in both arenas for more than 15 years. He is represented by Aqua Talent and has studied on-camera techniques with Shari Shaw. In LA, he continues to train at commercial dance studios with emphasis on jazz and hip-hop.
