Gil ’26 Joins Original Broadway Cast of ‘The Lost Boys: The Musical’

Miguel Gil ’26 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) will be in the original Broadway cast of “The Lost Boys: The Musical” and playing the role of Edgar Frog. The show opens at the Palace Theatre in New York City this coming April.

The 1987 film “The Lost Boys” has been transformed into a musical by  Tony Award-winning director Michael Arden (“Parade”) and the indie/rock band The Rescues. Broadway and film actors James Carpinello, Marcus Chait and Patrick Wilson are producing the show.

Gil’s Broadway and national tour credits include “Kimberly Akimbo” (Seth, Aaron and Martin understudy in original Broadway cast, Seth in national tour) and his regional credits include “Bye Bye Birdie” (Kennedy Center), “In the Heights” (The Muny) and “Follies in Concert” (Carnegie Hall). He was a nominee for the Jimmy Awards in 2021. Gil was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in Orlando, Florida.
