O’Conor Presents Masterclasses and Recitals in England and Ireland

Distinguished Artist-in-Residence, Harrison Endowed Chair in Piano, Chair of Keyboard Division and Professor of Piano John O’Conor, Mus.D., presented masterclasses at the Guildhall School of Music in London and also at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester this month. He also performed a series of solo recitals in Ireland (both North and South) and recitals with the Irish cellist Ailbhe McDonagh with whom he recorded the complete Beethoven Cello Sonatas on the Steinway label. These engagements were presented as part of O’Conor’s sabbatical this semester.
