Robare Recognized for Research Contributions in British Museum Publications

Auxiliary Adjunct Associate Professor of Dance Mary Robare, B.A., is known within some circles as a researcher, lecturer and published author on the topic of historical textiles. Recently, she was personally invited to attend a lecture presented by Katherine Hebert, chief curator of the American Museum & Gardens in Bath, United Kingdom. During the lecture, which was held at the George Washington Presidential Library at Mount Vernon, Robare was acknowledged for her research contributions that appear in two of the museum’s publications including Hebert’s upcoming release, “Quilts at the American Museum & Gardens.” She is also listed in the acknowledgements section of two of the museum’s books.
