Zoeter Performs and Teaches at University of Oregon

Anna Lee van Buren Endowed Chair in Clarinet, Coordinator of Winds & Percussion and Professor of Clarinet Garrick Zoeter, M.M., was in residence at the University of Oregon School of Music from Oct. 11, through Oct. 14. While there, he taught individual lessons to clarinet students, conducted a clarinet masterclass and performed two recitals with Wonkak Kim, the clarinet professor at University of Oregon, and his wife, Euhaye Grace Choi. The first recital was presented at The Jazz Station, a jazz venue in Eugene, while the second was at Berwick Hall. These concerts featured works by Ivan Sokolov, John Novacek, Miguel Del Aguila, Bela Kovacs and Franz Krommer. Zoeter and Kim studied (10 years apart!) with the same teacher in high school, Mr. Kenneth Lee in Vienna, Virginia.
