McManus Presents Research at AMS and SMT Joint Meeting

Coordinator of Music Literature and Associate Professor of Music History & Literature Laurie McManus, Ph.D., presented original research at the national joint meeting of the American Musicological Society (AMS) and Society for Music Theory (SMT) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Nov. 8. Her presentation was titled, “‘He’s Becoming a Part of Me:’ Queering the Levi-Brahms Artistic Relationship.”

In her capacity as vice president of the American Brahms Society and co-editor of its newsletter, McManus also presented information about the newsletter at a special Brahms-themed pre-conference on Nov. 5 in the same location.
