Belcher Serves as Featured Clinician and Conductor at National Music Education Events

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music (CCM) LaSaundra Belcher, Ed.D., was recently invited to serve in several prominent leadership and adjudication roles at major music education events across the country.

From Jan. 8, through Jan. 13, Dr. Belcher was the featured clinician for the Pinellas County All County High School Orchestra in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then served as orchestra headliner for the Michigan Music Conference from Jan. 22, through Jan. 24. Continuing her national engagement, Belcher was selected as the middle school orchestra conductor for the Nevada All-State Festival in Las Vegas from Jan. 29, through Jan. 31.

Belcher is also the orchestra headliner for the Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio from Feb. 11, through Feb. 14, and will serve as an adjudicator for the American String Teachers Association National Orchestra Festival in San Francisco from Feb. 25, through Feb. 28.

These invitations reflect Belcher’s continued recognition as a leader in orchestral music education and her impact on students and educators nationwide.
