Bormet and Crockett Perform at the Washington Women in Jazz Festival

Adjunct Associate Professor of Jazz Piano Amy K. Bormet, M.M., and Adjunct Associate Professor of Voice (CCM) Alison Crockett, M.M., will perform at the 16th annual Washington Women in Jazz Festival (WWJF) this month. The festival also features legendary pianist Bertha Hope, percussionist/electronic artist JoVia Armstrong, bassist Zoë Jorgenson and more. This year’s event includes several events throughout the month of March that culminate in a weekend of workshops, jam sessions, and concerts at the Pen Arts Mansion in D.C.’s Dupont Circle. Bormet is also the founder and director of WWJF.
