Edwards ’15 Leads National Voice Pedagogy Workshops and Masterclasses

Artistic Director of the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute, Coordinator of Musical Theatre Voice and Associate Professor of Voice & Musical Theatre Matt Edwards ’15, D.M.A., recently led a two-day voice pedagogy workshop for the Treasure Valley chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) in collaboration with Boise State University, where he worked with singers and teachers on contemporary vocal technique and pedagogical applications. Edwards also conducted an online masterclass for the Voice Division at Ohio University.

In addition, Edwards returned to the United States Air Force Band at Joint Base Anacostia–Bolling, where he collaborated with Auxiliary Adjunct Assistant Professor of Voice (CCM) Jackie Zito-Edwards, M.M., to coach the Singing Sergeants in commercial and musical theatre vocal styles.
