Adams Designs Costumes for ‘Come From Away’ at Totem Pole Playhouse
Costume Designer and Associate Professor of Costume Design Jennifer Flitton Adams, M.F.A., recently designed the costumes for the regional premiere of “Come From Away” at Totem Pole Playhouse in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. The production opened on June 19, as part of the theatre’s summer season.

The Tony Award-winning musical tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in Newfoundland following the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the small community that welcomed them with extraordinary generosity and compassion. Adams’ costume designs help bring to life the diverse cast of characters featured in the production, supporting a story celebrated for its humanity, resilience and sense of connection.
The engagement represents the latest professional design work by Adams, whose creative activity continues to extend beyond the classroom and into regional theatre productions across the country.
