The SULA Promise
The SULA promise is that every student who engages in the academy will be prepared to lead within their future organizations, professions, and communities.
The Shenandoah University Leadership Academy provides all students, regardless of academic major, the necessary skills of leadership as well as an understanding of the importance of moral and civic obligation.
SULA benefits participants by preparing them for leadership positions; creating a sense of belonging in a leadership-based community; and helping them differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
The Leadership and Mentoring Program (LAMP) is a key component of SULA. LAMP connects current students to professionals in their desired industry, and provides a support system where students gain career guidance, leadership development, and professional individual sponsorship.
