Personal Highlights:

I grew up on a farm in rural upstate NY. I moved to this area in 2021 with my husband Andrew and our two cats, named Sasquatch and Sebastian. I enjoy reading/ listening to audiobooks, painting, working on puzzles, playing board games, nature walks and nature photography.

Professional Highlights:

I have worked in primary care for most of my clinical experience. This includes outpatient internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, urgent care, and most recently a free clinic.

Research:

My doctoral capstone research, titled “Take a hike!” was about using time in nature for the prevention and treatment of burnout in healthcare providers.
