My Recruiting Territories: Certain Conservatory Programs
Hometown: Leesburg, VA.
My favorite spots around SU: I love Wilkins Lake — I always hope to spot a turtle! I also love the quad, and how beautiful the trees look in the fall. I could spend a whole day under the red leaves reading a book in a hammock!
What makes SU special to me: The environment here at Shenandoah is so welcoming and fosters connections not only among students but also with the wider community. The academic opportunities offered to students help them grow as thinkers, leaders, and professionals. SU has incredible world-class talent, and its commitment to providing high-caliber experiences is truly unique!
My advice: Don’t be afraid to ask for help from admissions counselors, staff, or students — ask everyone you can about the school. Each person will have a different perspective on the application process, allowing you to blend these varied viewpoints with your own to figure out if a school is a good fit for you. Also, visit campus on a day where students have classes — this can help you gauge the environment and the school’s day-to-day opportunities. When taking a campus tour, keep an open mind and pay attention to what sticks out to you. This approach will help you better understand your criteria for colleges.
My hobbies: I love spending time with my family and friends, reading (especially an epic fantasy series), watching old movies, and building Legos. I am a big Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies fan, and love going to games with my family.
