My favorite spots around SU: I just got here! But from what I’ve seen so far, walking up and down Old Town is great for people watching.
What makes SU special to me: The amount of care focused on the students is astounding. With our faculty-to-student ratio, students never have to compete for attention, time, or resources, ensuring all efforts are driven toward their success.
My advice: The place that you think is right for you might not be what you are expecting. What may seem correct and logical on paper could be a mismatch. Many factors play into how a school can best help you through the multitude of situations that can arise, so researching student life, activities, and the city itself can provide helpful context to make the right decision. Any personal interaction, whether a school tour or speaking with a current student, is always a plus!
Fun fact: I was a circus performer for 20 years. I can still do the splits but please don’t ask me to juggle!
