En Lin Qing’s Photography Work Gains Notice

Shenandoah student's work featured in two publications in recent months

Dance photos by En Lin Qing ’18, (a psychology/dance double major) featuring Shenandoah students, were published in the fall 2017 issue of the Circle Quarterly Art Review, along with the work 52 additional international contemporary artists. The publication offers a curated selection of original artwork and provides a valuable index for curators and collectors. Qing’s work can be seen on pages 66 and 67 of the publication.

Additionally, his photo work (including a professional partnership with dancer/dance instructor Zoey Cruz) was featured in The Fox Magazine:

On his official photography website at nlinkphoto.com, Qing expresses how he feels about capturing dance imagery:

From the ground to air, from stills to motion, dance is an elite form of movement. Dance is not just the beauty in body but also the understanding of self and others. As the artist, I desire to capture the moment that best interprets the motion and the dancer to the audience as a moment that will leave you in peace, in space, and in time.
