New CD by Fraedrich Features Guest Pianist and Vocalists

Auxiliary Adjunct Associate Professor of Jazz and Trumpet Craig Fraedrich, M.M., has released “Alone Together,” a new CD featuring Tony Nalker on piano (2 Guys, 2 Pianos) and jazz vocalists Christal Rheams, (multiple performances with the conservatory Jazz Ensemble, Little Big Band and vocalist for the dance set by the Little Big Band for the opening of the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center) and Lena Seikaly. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Sono Luminus by Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music Production & Recording Technology Daniel Shores ’99, B.M.

“Tony and I have been playing together for almost 30 years now,” said Fraedrich. “After hearing a bit of this new recording, a friend of ours commented that we ‘sound like an old married couple,’ meaning of course that we communicate and interact in ways that only come from years of experience with each other.”

The album is available for streaming on iTunes and Spotify, and hard copies will soon be available on Amazon and CD Baby. “Alone Together” features 12 selections, mostly jazz standards, with one original by Fraedrich and two by Nalker.
