Chacín ’17, ’21 Invited to Perform with Latin American Chamber Players Organization

Venezuelan violinist Kailbeth Chacín ’17, ’21 and Cuban-American pianist Nelson Ojeda will open the 2019/20 season for the Latin American Chamber Players in New York City in November. The recital explores the sounds of Romanticism with works by Pablo de Sarasate, Miguel Astor, César Franck and more. Chacín is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance, earned a Master of Music in Performance in 2017, and studies with Victor Brown Endowed Chair in Violin and Associate Professor of Violin Akemi Takayama, M.M.
