Carson Hosts Fierce Fridays with Dance Students

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dance Tiffanie Carson, M.F.A., has offered “Fierce Friday” dance classes for her current dance students. The class includes a full warmup with some 90s/throwback jams and a fun, easy-to-learn short combo.

Although I dearly miss all of my students and getting a chance to share physical space with them I’m grateful for technology and the capabilities it brings.”

Carson also offers notated warm-up exercises to interested dance students. Her exercises include a slower intro warmup, faster intro into full body with a lunge and one-legged balance series, pliés and tendu combination and an ab series. The warmups are intended for her current students who have been practicing these exercises all semester, but newer dancers also have been invited to utilize the exercises.
