Pianist Handelsman ’20 Appointed to UNH Faculty & Performs at Tanglewood
Mathilde Handelsman ’20 (Doctor of Music Arts in Performance) was appointed lecturer of piano and director of the Piano Extension Program at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). As head of the piano faculty, she teaches a piano studio as well as a collaborative piano course and supervises student teachers for UNH’s community piano school.
She was also in residence at Tanglewood Music Center this past summer during which she substituted for Emanuel Ax in a recital with Yo-Yo Ma and received a glowing review in the Boston Globe.
