Shenandoah’s Seventh Annual Day Of Giving Is April 21 & April 22

Despite the challenges Shenandoah has faced the last two years, the university has been able to rise because of the support of alumni and donors. As the university’s annual Day of Giving approaches, the Shenandoah community has the opportunity to come together again to better the lives of students, faculty and staff.

The event begins at noon on Thursday, April 21, and ends at noon on Friday, April 22! Day of Giving kicks off with FREE pizza, giveaways and a selfie station from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, in the Brandt Student Center. The first 50 Hornets who take a selfie and share it on their social media account(s) with #SUDayofGiving will receive a gift card (Sheetz, Starbucks, Target, etc.)!

Day of Giving is also sparking a couple of friendly competitions on campus. Residence halls are competing against each other to see which will come out on top and win a pizza party, while the athletics teams will compete against each other to see who will reign supreme and earn an additional team donation! Help your residence hall or athletics team edge out the competition by making a gift to their campaign at su.edu/dayofgiving.

Then as Day of Giving wraps up, FREE donuts will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 22, in the Brandt Student Center for anyone who would like to stop by.

Shenandoah has exciting plans for students as well as the entire Hornet family in the years to come, including new programs, scholarships and facilities. Your participation in this year’s Day of Giving will move these plans forward.

Shenandoah University will continue to succeed and transform the lives of our students, faculty and staff.

Together, we change lives!
