Kolvenbach Works with Theatre Students, Directs Hudson in Show

Director of Acting and Associate Professor of Theatre Scott Hudson, M.F.A., is collaborating with Olivier-nominated playwright John Kolvenbach, who will visit Shenandoah University from Thursday, April 13, through Saturday, April 15 and work with theatre students. Kolvenbach has written several original 10-minute plays for acting students to workshop and perform.

Additionally, Kolvenbach is directing Hudson in one of his shows, “Stand Up If You’re Here Tonight,” which will be performed at Bright Box Theater on the Old Town Winchester Walking Mall at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 15.

Kolvenbach’s visit is made possible by a gift from Marjorie Lewis.
